Position Overview
OXEA is strengthening its commercial organization in the United States and is looking for a Distribution Sales Manager – US to drive sales growth and develop strategic partnerships across our distribution network.
This is a commercial Sales position responsible for developing profitable sales through distribution, expanding market reach, strengthening customer relationships and ensuring that OXEA delivers a differentiated value proposition through its distribution partners.

The successful candidate will combine strong sales leadership with market insight, business development and relationship management skills. This individual will work closely with distributors and internal commercial teams to identify growth opportunities, develop markets and deliver an excellent customer experience.

The position reports to the Director of Global Sales Distribution and will collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Customer Care, Supply Chain, Finance, Regulatory and Operations

Main Tasks and Responsibilities
Drive Sales Growth

Develop and execute US sales plans through OXEA’s distribution partners.

Deliver sales and Variable Margin targets for the assigned distribution channel.

Identify opportunities for new customers, applications, products and markets.

Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline with distribution partners.

Work with distributors to convert market opportunities into sustainable business.

Support appropriate pricing and commercial strategies to maximize value creation.

Develop Strategic Distributor Partnerships

Build strong, long-term relationships with key distribution partners.

Develop joint business plans and growth initiatives with strategic distributors.

Establish clear expectations around sales growth, market development and customer service.

Support distributors with product knowledge, application expertise, sales tools and marketing resources.

Identify opportunities to strengthen the capabilities and effectiveness of distribution partners.

Expand Market Coverage

Develop a strong understanding of US markets, customers, applications and competitive dynamics.

Identify opportunities to expand OXEA’s presence in priority markets and regions.

Work with distributors to develop new customers and applications.

Provide market insights and recommendations to OXEA Sales, Marketing and Product Management

Strengthen Customer Experience

Promote high standards of customer care throughout the distribution network.

Work with distributors and internal Customer Care and Supply Chain teams to support product availability, responsiveness and delivery performance.

Identify customer needs and ensure appropriate commercial follow-up.

Help ensure distributors consistently represent OXEA’s value proposition in the marketplace

Manage Commercial Performance

Monitor distributor sales, growth, pipeline, market development and service performance.

Lead regular business reviews with key distribution partners.

Identify opportunities for improvement and develop appropriate action plans.

Provide accurate market, customer and competitive information to OXEA leadership.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Partner with Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Customer Care, Supply Chain, Finance and Regulatory to support customer and market growth.

Coordinate commercial initiatives across functions and ensure effective execution.

Support appropriate alignment between direct sales activities and distribution partners.

Qualifications & Experience
-
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
-
7+ years of progressive experience in chemical sales, distribution sales, channel management, business development or account management.

Experience working with distributors in the chemical or industrial B2B sector.

Strong understanding of the US chemical distribution landscape and industrial markets.

Proven track record of delivering sales growth and developing customer relationships.

Strong commercial, analytical, negotiation and relationship-management skills.

Experience developing joint business plans and managing strategic commercial partnerships.
-
Strong communication and presentation skills.
-
Willingness to travel extensively throughout the United States, typically 30–50%.
