Electrical Engineer LNG Projects

Basis North America is looking for experienced Electrical Engineers with strong background in LNG, Oil & Gas, petrochemical, power generation, or large industrial projects.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on technical experience supporting electrical engineering, construction, commissioning, energization, start-up, and troubleshooting activities in complex industrial facilities.

Key Experience Required:

• Electrical engineering experience in LNG, Oil & Gas, petrochemical, power generation, or EPC projects
 • Knowledge of LV, MV, and/or HV electrical systems
 • Experience with power distribution systems, switchgear, transformers, MCCs, UPS, grounding, cable systems, and electrical protection
 • Support for construction, pre-commissioning, commissioning, energization, start-up, and handover activities
 • Ability to review electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, schematics, technical documents, and vendor packages
 • Familiarity with NEC, IEEE, NFPA, IEC, or project electrical standards
 • Experience coordinating with engineering, construction, commissioning, QA/QC, vendors, and client representatives
 • Strong safety mindset and ability to work in field/project environments

Preferred:

• Previous LNG project experience
 • Experience with electrical systems in substations, compressor areas, utility systems, process units, or power generation packages
 • Experience with SAT, FAT, loop checks, functional testing, energization procedures, and troubleshooting
 • Ability to work on-site and support project execution schedules
