About the Role:
Universal Rehab in Houston, TX is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Entry Level Office Staff member to join our growing team! This is a fantastic opportunity to launch your career in a healthcare environment where your contributions make a real difference in patients' lives every day.
Responsibilities:
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls, emails, and other correspondence
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments
- Maintain and update patient records and data entry in office systems
- Process and organize medical and administrative paperwork and filing
- Assist with general office duties including supply management and daily operations
- Recruiting new Clinical staff
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required; associate's degree or higher a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced healthcare or medical office environment
- Dependable, punctual, and a team-oriented attitude
- Prior administrative or customer service experience preferred but not required
