Job Brief We are looking for an experienced Equipment Operator to operate track loaders, wheel loaders, excavators, and grinders used in land clearing and mulch production. This role requires safe, professional equipment operation at all times. Key Responsibilities Perform pre/post service inspections on equipment. Safely and efficiently operate equipment as directed while on job locations or in company yards. Complete daily service on equipment to include cleaning radiator/filters, cleaning equipment cab interior. Complete all necessary paperwork and submit daily (inspections reports, work orders, loader logs, etc.) Report all accidents and injuries, regardless of severity. Follow all standard operating procedures and processes. Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) is required to be worn at all times (safety toe shoes/boots, vest, hard hat, & gloves). Other duties and responsibilities as required or assigned Job QualificationsQualifications & Physical Requirements Ability to work +/- 60 hours per week to include Saturdays with overtime (hours not guaranteed) Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record, if applicable. Must be able to lift up to 50lbs. Must be able to sit, stand, and kneel for long periods of time and walk for short periods. Must be able to climb into and out of equipment several times per day using 3 points of contact. Must be able to use hand and arms to steer and to operate finger controls and adjust controls as needed inside and outside of equipment. Must be able to bend, stoop, and crawl to perform full inspection of the equipment and clean equipment. Must be able to work outside for periods of time in all weather. Must be able to see and hear proficiently to operate a motor vehicle and equipment in a safe manner. Must be able to frequently use arms overhead for multiple job functions to include cleaning equipment and tossing ropes or tie down straps using an overhead motion. Must be able to pull a rope with up to 40lbs of resistance using arms only. Must be able to work in a dusty environment (tolerate various types of work dust).
