Job SummaryÂ
Elevate Claims LLC is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Remote Catastrophe Property Estimator to support catastrophe property claims involving wind, hail, and other covered losses.Â
The Remote Catastrophe Property Estimator is responsible for reviewing field documentation, photographs, inspection reports, measurements, and other claim information to prepare accurate and comprehensive property damage estimates. This position requires strong knowledge of residential and commercial property construction, catastrophe-related damages, and proficiency with Cotality estimating software.Â
The ideal candidate can work independently in a fast-paced, high-volume CAT environment while consistently meeting client guidelines, service-level expectations, and quality standards.Â
Key ResponsibilitiesÂ
Damage Assessment: Review field inspection reports, photographs, satellite/aerial imagery, measurements, scopes, and supporting documentation to identify and evaluate wind, hail, and other property damage.Â
Estimate Preparation: Prepare detailed, accurate, and properly documented repair estimates using Cotality estimating software.Â
Scope Review: Review field adjuster and third-party inspection documentation to ensure the estimate accurately reflects the documented scope of damage.Â
Estimating Guidelines: Follow Elevate Claims LLC and client-specific estimating guidelines, pricing requirements, documentation standards, and procedures.Â
File Documentation: Maintain accurate, complete, organized, and timely claim documentation to support the estimate and claim file.Â
Estimate Revisions: Complete estimate corrections, supplements, and revisions as required based on additional documentation, quality review, or client direction.Â
Quality & Accuracy: Ensure estimates are complete, technically accurate, properly supported, and compliant with applicable client requirements.Â
Communication: Communicate professionally and effectively with Claims Managers, Field Adjusters, contractors, internal team members, and other applicable parties.Â
Production Standards: Manage assigned workload efficiently and meet required turnaround times, production expectations, and service-level agreements.Â
CAT Response: Maintain flexibility during catastrophe events, including the ability to manage increased claim volume and changing operational priorities.Â
Qualifications & RequirementsÂ
Minimum 3+ years of property claims estimating or catastrophe estimating experience, preferably involving wind and hail losses.Â
Demonstrated experience preparing residential property damage estimates.Â
Strong proficiency with Cotality estimating software.Â
Knowledge of residential and commercial construction methods, materials, roofing systems, and repair procedures.Â
Experience reviewing photographs, inspection reports, measurements, aerial reports, and other field documentation.Â
Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate estimates in a high-volume environment.Â
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Â
Strong organizational and time-management abilities.Â
Ability to work independently and effectively in a remote environment.Â
Ability to meet established production, quality, and turnaround-time requirements.Â
Prior catastrophe claims experience strongly preferred.Â
Applicable adjuster licensing may be required based on client and state requirements.Â
Licensing RequirementsÂ
Because Elevate Claims LLC supports multiple insurance carriers and assignments across multiple states, Estimators must be able to meet all applicable carrier-specific and state licensing requirements.Â
