General Summary
Performs corporate and strategic business unit, treasury and accounting functions. Duties involve recording transactions, cash management, ledger and bank account reconciliations, wire instructions, analyzing and explaining variances from budget to actual. Often performs in the following areas of treasury and accounting: general accounting, treasury operations, holding company accounting and affiliate billing and budgeting and forecasting.
Key Accountabilities
- Prepares special and routine journal entries. Ensures accounts arereconciled.Compilesandbalancesaccountingdata.Establishbillingforaccountsreceivable.
- Utilizescontinuousimprovementandleansystemsmethodologytodriveoutcostsandimprovethequalityofwork/lifebalance
- CreatesapositiveworkingenvironmentbysupportingDTMidstreamandCFOOrganization initiatives. Â
- Analyzesaccountingdatatoidentifytoidentifyproblemsandvarioussolutions/improvements
- Analyzes bank account activity
- Assistsindevelopingreportstocommunicateinformationandaddressaccounting-relatedproblemsbothinternallyandexternally.
- PerformsAffiliateBillingprocessesandproceduresincompliancewithregulatoryrequirementsThispositionmayrequireFERCgastraining.
Minimum Education & Experience Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or Accounting
Other Qualifications
Preferred:Â
- Advanced degree in taxation or MBA strongly preferred
