Your Role at KIK

Join our team as a Forklift Operator on 1st shift (Monday – Friday 7:00am-3:30pm and overtime on Saturdays as required) where you are a critical part of our operation. In this entry-level role, you will safely operate a forklift and other material handling equipment to move product throughout the warehouse, load and unload trailers, and support an efficient, organized production flow. This is a great opportunity to build a career in manufacturing — we provide the training and certification to set you up for success. You’ll help maintain a safe, clean work environment while adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Standard Operating Procedures, and Safety Standards. This position has an hourly rate of $20.60 per hour.

 What You’ll Be Doing

  • Safely operate a forklift and other material handling equipment to move product throughout the warehouse.

  • Load and unload materials from trailers, ensuring proper handling and product integrity.

  • Efficiently move and stage materials in and around the department as needed.

  • Complete loading and inventory documentation accurately, adhering to Hazmat rules where applicable.

  • Conduct daily equipment inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns.

  • Maintain a clean, organized work area in line with 5S and housekeeping standards.

  • Comply with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), Standard Operating Procedures, Safety Standards, and all plant policies and procedures.

What You’ll Bring

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) (preferred)

  • 2 or more years of prior sit-down forklift, warehouse, or manufacturing experience

  • Experience using an RF scanner or warehouse management system (WMS) (required)

  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand instructions, schedules, and requests in English.

  • Basic math and counting skills for accurate inventory and order handling.

  • Reliable attendance and ability to work the assigned shift, including overtime and weekends as needed.

  • Team player who works well with others and maintains a positive, safety-first attitude.

 

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach, and climb consistently throughout the shift.

  • Ability to perform repetitive motions, including grasping, reaching, bending, and lifting.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.

  • Ability to work around moving mechanical equipment and conveyor systems.

  • Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).

  • Ability to work in diverse environmental conditions, including non-temperature-controlled settings, high temperatures and humidity, potential high noise levels depending on location, and regular interaction with various chemicals and chemical products.
