Job Summary

We are seeking hardworking individuals to join our Casting Department. This position works in a lead casting shop environment, pouring molten lead into molds, finishing cast parts, performing quality inspections, and preparing finished products for shipment.

This is a HOT, DIRTY industrial manufacturing environment similar to a foundry. Employees are required to wear company-provided long-sleeve uniforms and a full-head respirator system. This position is physically demanding and is not a forklift operator position.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Use a pump system to pour molten lead into molds.
• Finish cast parts using a rosebud torch to meet quality specifications.
• Remove finished parts from molds.
• Trim excess flashing from cast parts.
• Perform visual inspections and quality checks.
• Stack finished products onto pallets.
• Meet daily production goals and quality standards.
• Follow all environmental, health, and safety procedures.
• Properly wear and maintain company-provided personal protective equipment (PPE), including a full-head respirator system.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work in a hot manufacturing environment for extended periods.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull heavy materials.
• Exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally and/or 50 pounds of force frequently.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.

Work Environment

• Hot, dirty, industrial foundry-like environment.
• Exposure to elevated temperatures and manufacturing processes.
• Required use of company-provided PPE, including respirator protection.
• Safety-focused workplace with strict compliance standards.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing, production, foundry, or industrial experience preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Ability to work in physically demanding conditions.
