Worley is recruiting a Talent Acquisition Coordinator to join our project team in Houston. This is a permanent role which requires in-office working at Worley’s Rogerdale Road office five days per week.
The Talent Acquisition Coordinator role is a critical position within the global Talent Acquisition organization, reporting to the Talent Acquisition Manager of the US Region. The TA Coordinator provides support to the Talent Acquisition team supporting one of Worley’s major projects and helps to ensure a positive experience for all the key stakeholders involved (Candidate/Hiring Manager/wider HR).
Key Responsibilities
Provides ongoing support to Talent Acquisition team as needed, particularly in posting requisitions, sourcing, assessment and selection, interview logistics, and verification of skills for candidatesÂ
- Actively source passive candidates for all requisitions (using all locally available tools LinkedIn Recruiter, Xing, GitHub etc.) and turn cold prospects into active candidates. Â
- Personally assess candidates’ competence, cultural fit and motivation, and present robust shortlists with an appropriate mix of internal, external, active, and passive candidates. Â
- Assists with planning and preparation of recruiting events such as career fairs, open houses, and college campus recruiting events. Â
- Represent Worley at industry events Â
- Champion compliance with Worley policies and procedures throughout the TA lifecycle, including ensuring comprehensive and accurate information is maintained in key systems (e.g. Taleo/People-link) to consistent standards.Â
- Holds self and others accountable to meet commitments in an ethical and honest mannerÂ
What you'll bring:
- Proven Talent Acquisition professional, typically with a couple of years of experience in the recruitment industry, or an in-house talent acquisition function.
- Excellent coordination and administration skills, with experience using all Microsoft packages.
- Experience working on a project, in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to demonstrate understanding of current organization’s core business, organization, strategic direction, challenges, and aspirations, and articulate how Talent Acquisition can input and add value to these within assigned domain. Â
- Flexible with a drive to achieve desired outcomes in an environment of constant change, competing priorities and objectives.  Â
- Able to model desired behaviors in terms of standards and best practices in a corporate environment. Â
- Personal powers of resilience and tenacity; takes personal responsibility for resolving performance issues before they impact on the business; consistently sees things through to completion. Â
