Key Responsibilities 

  • Serve as the primary inside-sales point of contact for assigned customers and/or territories, ensuring fast, accurate, and professional support. 
  • Own the quote-to-order process: intake, clarification, pricing, quoting, follow-up, negotiation support, order entry, and fulfillment coordination. 
  • Build and manage an active opportunity pipeline; identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities and support outbound commercial campaigns. 
  • Partner closely with Outside Sales and Sales Leadership to align account strategy, call plans, and growth priorities. 
  • Coordinate with Operations, Engineering/Technical, and Supply Chain to confirm lead times, product configurations, and execution feasibility. 
  • Maintain pricing discipline: apply pricing guidelines, manage approvals, and support margin improvement initiatives. 
  • Resolve customer issues and escalations (delivery, quality, billing, returns) with urgency and ownership. 
  • Maintain accurate CRM hygiene (opportunities, quotes, contacts, activity) and provide regular forecasting input. 
  • Support contract administration activities as needed (blanket POs, MSAs, price books, customer onboarding). 
  • Participate in continuous improvement efforts to streamline quoting, order accuracy, and customer communications. 

 

 

Qualifications/Requirements:  

  • Technically understand customer(s)’ needs to provide a technical solution.  Self-starter, highly motivated, competitive, and innovative enough to seek out and create opportunities.

     

  • Previous Power Tubing Tongs experience preferred  

 

  • Other Skills needed:  Presentation skills, internal communications, informing others, verbal communication, closing skills, motivation for sales, sales planning, prospecting skills, persistence, competitive, meeting sales goals.  Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
