Job DetailsJob Location: Houston, TX 77041This position is responsible for learning and performing the inspection and packaging of bags according to the Company’s established quality standards. This includes conducting quality tests and generating reports to ensure that products meet the required specifications. Must be familiar with safety regulations and personal protective equipment as well as the environment to prevent workplace accidents.  This position reports to the Conversion Supervisor, Training Department and Human Resources. DESCRIPTION Application of the Company’s Core Values in the work environment. Learn the High Density and Low-Density quality standards through training. Learn to interpret and follow production orders to ensure proper inspection and packaging processes. Learn to operate at least one machine with an auto pack or a manual table during the learning process. Inspect bags during production to ensure they meet first-class quality classification standards. Identify potential quality issues with bags and immediately report them to the operator, leader or supervisor for correction. Perform required tests, such as stretchability, easy open, weight per box, and other variants as required by the Quality Control department and document the results. Learn to pack bags, seal them correctly with tape and properly stack them on finished pallets. Record all pallet information in the production order to ensure proper tracking. Work collaboratively with other team members to support machine operation and production modules. COMPETENCIES Ability to make quick and effective decisions related to inspection and packaging. Ability to accurately document information about quality tests and average weight. Knowledge and proficiency in using tools to measure bags and ensure compliance with quality standards. Excellent communication ability to interact with team members and supervisors. EXPERIENCE Previous experience in product inspection within the plastic industry is preferred. High school diploma or equivalent. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Ability to stand for long periods and perform continuous movements. Ability to lift and move boxes weighing 11-50 lbs. frequently. WORKING CONDITIONS Work inside the manufacturing plant using personal protective equipment (PPE), with exposure to high and low temperatures and loud noise. Exposure to ammonia odors and dust in the environment.
