About You and The Role Â
In this role, you will own day-to-day shipping, receiving, and inventory operations at the facility. You’ll ensure materials are accurately received, stored, tracked, picked, packed, and shipped with perfect quality and in full compliance with safety standards. You will maintain warehouse organization, manage dock activities and material handling equipment, perform cycle counts, and proactively identify and resolve inventory discrepancies.
You will also build strong working relationships with OEMs, internal teams, and vendors — troubleshooting shipment and inventory issues as they arise and driving them to resolution. Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, operational discipline, and a customer-first mindset.
What You'll Do Â
- Execute shipping and receiving functions at the facilityÂ
- Manage dock and warehouse organization, material handling equipment, and shipping suppliesÂ
- Handle issues related to inventory handling and material conveyance.
- Allocate and organize storage locations according to requirementsÂ
- Â Sort inventory according to established proceduresÂ
- Mark inventory with identifying informationÂ
- Update and maintain inventory records and databasesÂ
- Complete regular cycle counts of inventoryÂ
- Identify potential inventory shortages and communicate with relevant stakeholdersÂ
- Pick and prepare orders to be shippedÂ
- Ensure proper packaging and labeling of shipmentsÂ
- Ensure perfect quality of outbound ordersÂ
- Adhere to all safety standards and operating proceduresÂ
- Build and grow relationships with OEM, internal customers and vendorsÂ
- Troubleshoot inventory and shipment issues and customer complaints that arise and work to solve them
What You'll BringÂ
- 2-5 years Logistics and/or warehouse experience; preferably within an international supply chain organizationÂ
- Excellent customer service skillsÂ
- Initiative to scope, start, and drive projects and tasks to completionÂ
- Ability to openly seek advice, guidance, and enlist support as neededÂ
- Effective communication, including writing, speaking and interpersonal communicationÂ
- Good collaboration and teamwork abilitiesÂ
- Expert inventory managementÂ
- Proficiency in relevant computer applications including MS Word and Excel â—Ź Familiarity with warehouse management system (WMS) technologyÂ
- Familiarity with material handling equipment (forklift, pallet jack)Â
- Must be able to work with minimum supervisionÂ
- Must be eligible to work in the US
- Valid driver's license in good standing
