NELSON is currently looking for Mechanical Engineer with 聽zero to five聽 years of experience. The position will develop experience in the following areas:

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Power generation, oil and gas facilities, gas compression, pipelines, and more

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 ASME B31.1, ASME B31.3, B31.4 and B31.8

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Creation of P&IDs

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 HAZOPs or PHAs

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Material selection

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Sizing and specifying mechanical equipment

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Working with lead engineer

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Calculation checking and other design tasks

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Conducting facility process surveys, determine bottlenecks, make recommendations

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Remedy the bottlenecks

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Performing basic checks like found in API RP 14C and 14E

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Creating construction scopes of work

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Working with piping designers to develop drawing deliverables

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Develop bills of materials

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Working with and coordinating other disciplines to support the project

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Creating and maintaining project status reports

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Maintaining budgets and schedules

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Bachelor鈥檚 degree in mechanical engineering - required

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Registered Professional Engineer or EIT preferred. Eventual PE licensing is expected

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Field or shop experience is an advantage

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Knowledge of appropriate software

路聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽 Ability to communicate effectively to a diversely educated audience
