What will I be doing?  

The information technology auditor will conduct audits and review controls over H-GAC information technology and cybersecurity. In addition, ensuring that operations and documentation are consistent with NIST framework and the Texas Cybersecurity Framework as well as helping management implement best practices in information technology. The position will also support and train other internal audit staff in using information technology as an auditing tool.

Key Qualifications 

ü Degree in Information Systems, Cyber Security, or similar.

ü Written and verbal communication skills to interact with H-GAC management and staff.

Do you have…  

ü Bachelor’s degree in an applicable academic discipline or related field of study   

ü 5 years of experience working with local government, nonprofit programs, school, or in job-related duties  

Preferred qualifications

ü Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), CompTIA Security+, Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
