Learning & Development Coordinator Â

The Learning and Development Coordinator is instrumental in advancing Devon Energy’s learning and talent development strategy by delivering comprehensive logistical, administrative, and operational support to the L&D function. This role is responsible for ensuring the effective planning, implementation, and execution of development programs and enterprise-wide learning initiatives that strengthen employee capability and organizational effectiveness.Â

This position is located on-site at our headquarters in Houston, Texas. Monday-Thursday with Flex Fridays.
Â
Learning Management System (LMS) SupportÂ
Configures and maintains programs, campaigns, and courses in the Workday LMSÂ
Provides timely and accurate reporting on training activities recorded in the LMS: attendance, completion rates, and other key metrics to support the organization's measurement and reporting strategiesÂ
Addresses user issues and provides timely system supportÂ
Monitors data accuracyÂ
Â
Program SupportÂ
Assists in coordinating end-to-end learning programs, from scheduling to evaluation, to ensure seamless executionÂ
Provides logistical support for virtual and live training sessions, workshops, and eventsÂ
Serves as the point of contact for L&D communicationsÂ
Manages and maintains content libraries, master L&D calendar, and print and digital L&D materialsÂ
Manages vendor partnerships - coordinates and administers contracts, service agreements, and vendor relationships for external training and development servicesÂ
Â
Skills & ExperienceÂ
Minimum of 2 years of experience in L&D or LMS administrationÂ
Prior Workday Learning experience preferred Â
Ability to manage priorities and work independently or collaboratively Â
Strong problem solver with ability to manage multiple deadlinesÂ
Attention to detail and accuracy in data management and documentation Â
Excellent oral and written communication skills, including spelling and grammarÂ
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Teams, etc.) Â
Experience in the oil & gas industry is a plusÂ
Â
Education RequirementsÂ
Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in human resources, or a related fieldÂ
Â

Percent of Travel Required:Â 10%Â
