Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated Leasing Professional to support leasing operations at our multifamily community. This role focuses on sales, leasing, resident service, and occupancy by converting prospects into residents, conducting property tours, processing applications, and maintaining accurate leasing records.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to prospective resident inquiries by phone, email, and other communication channels and conduct timely follow-ups.
- Conduct property tours and effectively present available apartments, amenities, pricing, lease terms, and community features.
- Manage the leasing process from initial inquiry through application, approval, lease execution, and move-in.
- Process rental applications and maintain accurate prospect and resident information in CRM and property management systems.
- Follow up with prospects consistently to generate applications, improve conversion, and support occupancy goals.
- Assist with lease renewals, resident retention, transfers, and other leasing-related activities.
- Provide professional customer service and respond to resident questions regarding leases, payments, maintenance, and community policies.
- Coordinate with maintenance and property management teams to ensure resident concerns are addressed promptly.
- Maintain accurate leasing records, reports, documentation, and prospect activity.
- Support marketing, outreach, resident events, and other initiatives designed to generate leasing traffic.
- Follow Fair Housing, LIHTC, company, and property-specific compliance requirements.
- Meet established leasing, sales, follow-up, and occupancy goals.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ year of multifamily property leasing experience required.
- 2+ years of LIHTC experience required.
- Strong sales, leasing, customer service, and communication skills.
- Experience with CRM and property management software; Yardi or Entrata preferred.
- Strong follow-up, organization, and attention to detail. Knowledge of Fair Housing and affordable housing requirements.
- Spanish proficiency preferred.
- Ability to meet leasing, sales, and occupancy goals.
