• Shift Schedule:
  • 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
  • 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM
  • 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Minimum Commitment: Flexible
• Practice Setting: Pediatric Emergency Department
• Facility Details:
  • Annual Volume: 25,550 pediatric patient visits
  • 13 ED Beds
  • Fast Track Available
  • Trauma Level: None
  • Must Respond to Floor Codes
  • Transfer/Admit Rate: 15%
  • Subspecialty Backup: Available
• EMR System: Cerner
• Travel & Lodging: Provided
• Temp Privileges: Available for eligible providers

Patient Load & Flow:

• Patients Per Hour: 1.8 PPH

Provider Requirements:

• Certification:
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric Emergency Medicine (ABEM-PEM) or Emergency Medicine (ABEM)
• Licensure: Active & Unrestricted TX State License & DEA
• Required Certifications:
  • ACLS - Required if not dual boarded in Pediatrics and Pediatric Emergency Medicine
  • ATLS - Proof of completion at least once required
  • PALS - Required if not dual boarded in Pediatrics and Pediatric Emergency Medicine
