About The Position

Longview, TX Emergency Medicine Physician Locum Tenens Opportunity

Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking Emergency Medicine Physicians for a locum tenens opportunity in Longview, TX. This position offers high-volume patient flow, strong APP support, and competitive compensation in a Level 3 Trauma Center with affiliated Freestanding Emergency Departments (FSEDs).

Opportunity Details:

• Location: Longview, TX (Must Credential at Main Hospital Campus & Affiliated FSEDs)
• Contract Type: Emergency Medicine Physician Locum Tenens
• Start Date: ASAP
• Shift Schedule:
  • Physician Shifts (30 Hours of MD Coverage):
    • 6 AM – 4 PM
    • 12 PM – 10 PM
    • 8 PM – 6 AM
  • APP Shifts (20 Hours of APP Coverage):
    • 8 AM – 8 PM
    • 1 PM – 1 AM
• Minimum Commitment: Flexible
• Practice Setting: Physician-led Emergency Department & Affiliated FSEDs
• Facility Details:
  • Annual Volume: 36,000 patient visits
  • 21 ED Beds
  • Level 3 Trauma Center
• EMR System: Medhost
• Scribe Coverage: Available
• Travel & Lodging: Provided

Patient Load & Flow:

• Patients Per Hour: 2

Provider Requirements:

• Certification: ABEM, ABFM, or ABIM Board Certified
• Licensure: Active & Unrestricted TX State License & DEA
• Required Certifications:
  • ATLS required for non-ABEM physicians
  • ABEM physicians must have taken ATLS at least once
