? Maintenance Technician – Catalyst Manufacturing
Job Summary:
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment used in catalyst production within a chemical manufacturing environment. This role ensures all machinery operates safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company and industry standards.
?? Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on production equipment, reactors, pumps, conveyors, and packaging systems
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
- Maintain and repair equipment used in catalyst processing and chemical handling
- Diagnose equipment failures and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Assist with installation and startup of new equipment
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations (OSHA), environmental policies, and company procedures
- Complete work orders, maintenance logs, and documentation accurately
- Collaborate with production teams to improve equipment reliability and efficiency
?? Requirements:
- 2+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing, chemical, or industrial environments
- Strong knowledge of industrial equipment and systems
- Experience with PLC troubleshooting (preferred)
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely
- Basic electrical knowledge (motors, sensors, wiring)
- Ability to work in non-climate controlled environments and perform heavy lifting
- Must be able to pass background check and drug screening
? Preferred Experience:
- Experience in catalyst, chemical, or refinery-related operations
- Knowledge of process equipment (reactors, dryers, kilns, etc.)
- Familiarity with lockout/tagout procedures (LOTO)
