POSITION OVERVIEW

 Hanwha Energy USA is seeking a highly motivated Manager, Capital Formation & Institutional Investments to support the company's capital raising, strategic investment, and institutional partnership initiatives across renewable energy, power generation, energy infrastructure, data center and gas-fired investments. This individual is someone who can identify and engage institutional capital partners (LPs) and strategic investors interested in large-scale energy infrastructure investments.

The ideal candidate will possess strong financial modeling, project finance, investment analysis, and stakeholder management capabilities with experience working in infrastructure, energy, private equity, investment banking, or institutional investment environments.

The employee may be required to perform other job-related duties as requested by management.  All duties will be assigned in accordance with applicable laws and company policies.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

 Capital Formation & Investor Relations

  • Support capital raising efforts for renewable energy, energy infrastructure, and strategic investment platforms.
  • Assist in developing investment materials, investor presentations, offering memorandums, and transaction documentation.
  • Coordinate due diligence processes with institutional investors, private equity firms, infrastructure funds, and strategic partners.
  • Build and maintain relationships with institutional investors and financing counterparties.
  • Monitor capital markets, investor trends, and financing opportunities to support growth initiatives.
  • Originating investment partnerships while structuring complex investment and financing solutions that support project execution.

 

Investment Analysis & Execution

  • Conduct financial analysis, valuation modeling, and investment underwriting.
  • Support acquisition, development, and financing transactions across energy and infrastructure assets.
  • Evaluate investment opportunities and prepare recommendations for executive leadership.
  • Perform sensitivity analysis and risk assessments on prospective transactions.
  • Coordinate with internal business units, external advisors, legal counsel, and financing partners.

 

Strategic Planning

  • Assist with long-term capital deployment strategies.
  • Prepare executive-level presentations and investment committee materials.
  • Analyze market trends, industry developments, and competitor activities.
  • Support strategic partnerships, joint ventures, and co-investment opportunities.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

 Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in investment banking, project finance, infrastructure investing, private equity, corporate development, or institutional investments.
  • Advanced financial modeling and valuation skills.
  • Experience analyzing complex financing transactions.
  • Strong presentation, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.

Preferred

  • MBA, CFA, or Master's degree.
  • Renewable energy, energy infrastructure, power generation, or data center investment experience.
  • Experience working with institutional investors, infrastructure funds, and strategic investors.
  • Knowledge of project finance, tax equity, debt structuring, and alternative investment structures.

 

COMPENSATION: $145,000 - $160,000 salary
