In addition to being a forklift manufacturer, we are also a total solutions provider offering scalable products and services from material handling and automation to extensive fleet support.   About the role: Direct report to the Senior Manager. This position will oversee all aspects of maintenance operations within the facility. This essential role involves leading a team of maintenance technicians, coordinating schedules, and implementing preventive maintenance programs to ensure the efficient operation of machinery, equipment, and physical structures. Assist and works closely with the Senior Manager to develop and execute maintenance strategies aligned with organizational goals and objectives. Responsibilities include maintaining inventory of spare parts and equipment, managing maintenance budgets, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this role. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to support production schedules.    What you will do: Manage and lead the Maintenance team to ensure production equipment is maintained and operating according to specifications while maintaining a safe working environment. Support successful completion of production schedules by maximizing equipment uptime and tracking downtime of equipment for data collection. Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure the reliability and longevity of equipment and machinery, as well as make recommendations for processes to maximize the equipment's efficiency and productivity. Assists in maintaining safety and environmental policies and procedures and ensure they are adhered to by Maintenance personnel; conducts regular shift safety meetings and safety inspection on all equipment in accordance with site safety rules and regulations. Implement and oversee an efficient spare parts management system, including inventory control, replenishment strategies, and vendor management, to ensure availability of critical parts while minimizing excess inventory and associated costs. Collaborate with maintenance planners to develop and maintain a comprehensive maintenance schedule, optimizing resources and minimizing downtime through proactive planning and coordination of maintenance activities Complete annual goals and adhere to budgets as determined by department and Senior Manager. When & Where: In office daily. Travel less than 10%. What you need to have: 7-10 Years of previous experience working in machine maintenance 5+ years of managing maintenance professionals Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team. Familiarity with preventive maintenance software and tools. Understand budget and P/L processes. Ability to prioritize multiple task and work independently or within a group. Ability to follow oral and written directions and specific rules, regulations and processes. Strong Communication Skills. Customer Service Oriented. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities         What would be nice to have: 3-5 years of previous experience managing a team Experience with Lean manufacturing principles. Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
