Summary or Description:
Seasoned level support position responsible for performing complex and varied work assignments that are more specialized, requiring a deep understanding of their specific area of expertise. Typically will support senior managers or executives, with work involving frequent visibility to high level internal and external customers. Positions at this level may be required to perform involved mathematical calculations. May have specific process or program coordination responsibilities assigned as part of the regular work routine.

This full-time role supports our U.S. operations and offers flexibility in location, allowing the successful candidate to be based at any Worley office within the United States

Purpose:
This position serves as a key member of the legal team, providing a blend of paralegal, legal operations, and administrative support with a primary focus on litigation and employment matters.
The role assists attorneys with all phases of dispute resolution, including matter intake, document collection and preservation, legal hold administration, discovery coordination, case tracking, vendor management, invoice review, and maintenance of litigation and employment matter files. The individual works closely with internal stakeholders, outside counsel, Human Resources, and global business leaders to facilitate efficient management of claims, investigations, employment disputes, and regulatory matters while ensuring compliance with legal and corporate requirements. This role will also provide substantive support for subpoenas and certain legal claims.
In addition to substantive legal support, the role is responsible for a broad range of legal operations support and administrative functions that help drive the effectiveness of the legal department. Responsibilities include coordinating meetings and communications, preparing and analyzing various reports, entering and updating and managing matter management systems, tracking budgets and outside counsel spend, requesting and arranging settlement payments, preparing presentations, maintaining legal records, monitoring deadlines, handling document execution and retention, and supporting departmental projects and process improvement initiatives. The position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, sound judgment in handling confidential information, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while supporting attorneys throughout the legal team.
Responsibilities:
  • Routinely makes decisions that involve independent judgment to determine a course of action which is consistent with established functional policies and goals covered only by general procedures; Supervision at this level is extremely infrequent and is typically necessary only to understand departmental goals and work objectives. Able to lead and/or train lesser seasoned individuals in daily work assignments and performance oversight. 
  • Under limited supervision, has ability to lead project teams and/or department work. May participate in cross-functional collaboration. 
  • Has no direct reports, but may take a lead role in project type assignments.
What you will bring
Technical/Industry Experience and Qualifications Requirements: 
  • Strong ability to Inform and persuade on complex matters through preparation and delivery of proposals, presentations and reports, as well as collaboration with stakeholders and management. 
  • Advanced understanding of systems, processes and tools related to field. Able to assist others and troubleshoot issues with systems, processes and tools.
Education – Qualifications, Accreditation, Training:
Required:
  • Secondary school education or equivalent and 5-7+ years relevant experience.
Preferred:
  • Advanced support position, performing assignments that are broad, time sensitive, global, and complex in nature. 
Additional Information
Salary range is USD $122,124- $147,252 commensurate with experience.
