Metro Fire Apparatus Specialists, Inc. is looking for a Marketing & Design Associate who is willing and capable of designing and implementing various traditional and digital marketing activities. Metro Fire specializes in fire trucks sales and service as well as fire equipment sale. Metro Fire is a medium sized company based out of Houston, TX that has been around for over three decades. Metro Fire allows its employees to grow professionally by encouraging creativity and problem solving.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Implements strategic marketing plan to meet goals and objectives of the company.
  • Plans and coordinates the marketing of current and new products.
  • Develop and produce marketing and promotional materials including but not limited to; print, electronic media, trade show, direct mail, signage, and company apparel.
  • Develop plans and programs to promote and improve market penetration to meet corporate objectives.
  • Preps for and attends conventions, conferences, and trade shows as needed; prepares post-event reports and analysis.
  • Assists with development and maintenance of consistent corporate image throughout all marketing, promotional materials, and product lines.
  • Develop and create marketing content for digital marketing campaigns and social media platforms.
  • Upload content (videos, photos, product descriptions) to website.
  • Perform various other tasks as assigned time to time. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in Graphic Design/Marketing or equivalent experience (Relevant work experience may substitute education requirements)
  • Commitment to excellence and high standards.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage priorities and workflow independently.
  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
  • The ability to plan and organize projects
  • Strong graphic design skills
  • Proficient on Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign)
  • Proficient on Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point)
  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Good judgement with the ability to make timely and sound decisions
  • Creative, flexible, and innovative team player
