Partner with the best

The Materials Manager will perform the daily operations of plants to ensure reliability and consistency on the production line. Includes Service Shops. Participates in discussions about the future of the business requiring frequent and thorough interaction with other functions. Develops the year plan for own unit on the basis of the framework of the strategic plan for the whole unit.

As a Materials Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing master planning, material processes and systems, prepare and update production schedules and purchasing needs.  Ensure operational alignment with production plan and KPIs.  Optimize inventory and process improvements.

  • Conducting frequent interactions on manager level with Engineering, maintenance, planning and enabling functions about technical and organizational alignment.

  • Handling complex manufacturing processes. Manufacturing department has to define approaches. Variety due to customization to client needs.

  • Leading a medium sized manufacturing unit with a budget > $ 5 million.

  • Leading S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) process, master scheduling, production planning, materials planning & warehouse teams.

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college or equivalent experience.

  • Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Materials Planning and Execution.

  • Have interpersonal and leadership skills.

  • Show demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.

  • Show demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects.

  • Have the ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs. Established project management skills.

  • Have ability to travel to manufacturing plants up to 25%
