Kinetik employees have decades of experience in West Texas and provide all the important services our customers need to deliver gas and crude oil production to market, which include gathering, transportation, compression, processing and produced water management.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

 

Kinetik is looking for someone with 1 – 5 years of experience in NGL and/or scheduling. This person will work with outside marketers that are responsible for selling gas daily and working with NGL downstream pipelines and transmission pipelines to manage plant disruptions or nomination shortfalls/exceedances.

 

 

  • Back up the gas schedulers regularly communicate with producers to ensure nominations are made into transmission pipelines for the next gas day in an accurate and timely manner
  • Nominate monthly NGLs and track daily movements of the NGLs from plant tailgate to the downstream NGL pipelines
  • Assist as needed gas scheduling managing planned and unplanned daily flows into multiple transmission pipelines
  • Work closely with Accounting to provide support with intra-company reporting and month-end processes.
  • Work closely with plant operators to manage the flow of gas and NGL flows into downstream pipelines
  • Working closely with field operators to manage flow of gas and NGLs into the various Kinetik gas plants, coordinating gas movements in relation to planned and unplanned events, while minimizing negative impacts to producers.
  • Building relationships of trust with internal personnel, producers, and outside entities to further support Kinetik as the Premier Permian Midstream organization, providing a safe and reliable service.
  • Provide instructions, taking the lead in resolving any flow disruptions which outside contractors are not able to manage.
  • All other duties as assigned

 

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

 

  • Associates Degree or 3 years of experience in plant operations
  • Minimum of one-year experience in NGL and/or gas scheduling
  • Preferably experience with NGL Permian pipeline systems 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Strong analytical and communication skills

 

 

Working Conditions:

  • Will be working in an office environment with prolonged periods of sitting and working on a computer.
  • Will be required to frequently drive to other field facilities within their assigned region.
  • Available outside of normal working hours as needed for business necessity.

 

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards. 
  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards 
  • Ability to work effectively in all working conditions noted above.
  • Will require lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50 lbs. in a safe manner on an occasional basis.
  • Ability to possess and maintain a valid driver's license to include a safe driving record satisfactory to the company.
