This position is based in our Dotson Road office location. Duties and Responsibilities Explains procedure to patients to assure cooperation and optimum test results Prepares stock solutions of radiopharmaceutical materials, calculate doses, and administer doses, under direction of Physician Performs diagnostic exams including Cardiac PET CT studies on patients as prescribed by physicians, including treadmill supervision and starting IVs. Measures radioactivity using Geiger counters, scalers and scintillation detectors Follows radiation safety techniques in use and disposal of radioactive materials Maintains quality control of all equipment Safeguard the privacy of patient health information Attends required meetings Performs related work as required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Must have excellent interpersonal and critical thinking skills Must be confident with working independently in a very busy private cardiology practice setting. Requirements Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology Must be registered with ARRT or NMTCB 2 years of experience preferred not required.
