Job DetailsJob Location: 1200 ENCLAVE PKWY - HOUSTON, TX 77077Job Category: Project EngineeringPROJECT ENGINEER (OFFSHORE PROJECTS) Provide overall project coordination and engineering oversight on assigned offshore projects.  Evaluates the desired goal of the system and develops, designs, or selects the required equipment, power controls, piping, structures and earthwork to achieve the goal. Participates in planning, cost development and management, and scheduling for assigned projects. Responsible for ensuring compliance with Arion Quality Management System. Monitor QA/QC of project and coordinate with others as needed to resolve any design or process issues. Identify risks and areas of concern with respect to progress of assigned project, recommend the corrective actions wherever required and execute when directed by the client Directs activities to ensure that construction, installation, and operational testing conform to functional specifications, recognized codes and standards, and customer requirements. Maintains effective communication with project team members and with the customer. Take a leadership role in regular internal project meetings to collect and disseminate information pertaining to the project. May direct and coordinate operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment and systems in field installations. May use computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks. Uses knowledge of general application of principles, theories, concepts, and industry practices and standards to perform engineering and design of less complex units. Works under general supervision; work is reviewed for adequacy and accuracy QualificationsQualifications Strong technical knowledge of engineering, design, and construction of offshore equipment, platforms or facilities Recent project engineering management experience in Engineering firm Experience with individual project sizes of $1M or greater Experience managing a team of project discipline engineers Background in Process / Mechanical / Civil / Electrical Engineering preferred. Software: Microsoft Office Suite Software Primavera P6 software (familiarity) Ecosys Adobe Pro and Bluebeam Revu Amount of Travel: Some travel to project sites may be required
