We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Pediatric Physical Therapist to join our team.  We are an outpatient interdisciplinary clinic in the Texas Medical Center. This is a unique position on a small, skilled team, looking to bridge gaps in care and provide high frequency, short duration episodes of care.  The pediatric PT will assess and treat infants, children, and adolescents with a variety of motor, developmental, and neurological conditions supporting our UT Health Houston Pediatric Movement Disorders Center.

Position Summary:

Provides professional, educational, and clinical skills in organizing and directing physical therapy services and administering treatment programs.

Position Key Accountabilities:

Certification/Skills:

• Certified by American Physical Therapy Association and 
• Physical Therapy (PT) by Executive Council of Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy Examiners - Texas Board of Physical Therapy Examiners (ECPTOTE)  required

Minimum Education:

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited school of Physical Therapy and four years of experience; OR
Master’s degree in Physical Therapy and two years of experience; OR
Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy and no experience.

Minimum Experience:

Years of experience varies based on education level.

Physical Requirements:

Exerts up to 100 pounds of force occasionally and/or over 50 pounds frequently and/or over 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

Security Sensitive:

Residency Requirement:

Employees must permanently reside and work in the State of Texas.
