Scheduling, coordination, and product inventory accounting for all product movement into and through numerous KMST terminals. Provide administratvive oversight of all product receipts by pipeline, rail, truck, and vessel from customers. Manage product inventory within the terminal and accounting for product liftings out of the terminal by customers. Important consideration to be given to market, supplier and customer needs, product quality, facility/system capabilities and constraints, and contractual obligations/commercial terms.
What You Will Do
Essential duties and responsibilities:
Ā
- Maintain accurate inventory control and accountability of all products and customer inventories within terminals on a daily basis. Assess daily inventory to assure adequate space is available for all upcoming receipts into the terminal and to assure inventory is available to satisfy all anticipated liftings out of the terminal.
- These duties involve both short-term projections (24-72 hours) and long term (up to 6 weeks) into the future
- Monitors and coordinates all product nominations and receipts from customers on a continual basis daily
- Assures allocated capacity and contracted tank space is available per contractual obligations with all customers
- Works with PPL field operations and quality control to assure integrity of product quality at all times
- Provides daily contact with customer representatives to coordinate movements into and out of the terminals. Promptly resolve issues with customersĀ regarding schedules and inventory.
- Work with business development for ongoing customer needs and product allocations within terminals
- Required to promptly address customer issues that arise and send notifications beyond normal working hours including nights, weekends and holidays.

What You Need
Minimum requirements:

Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience / specific knowledge:
- Good analytical and computer skills, and problem solving abilityĀ
Certifications, licenses, registrations:
- Must have and maintain a valid driverās license and be insurable by the Company Insurance Carrier
Competencies, skills, and abilities:
- Good analytical and computer skills, and problem solving ability.
- Conceptual capacity to plan ahead and recognize independent and dependent variables and impact on efficient schedules.
- Effective written and oral communication skills in English.
- Proactively communicate and work with other pipeline and terminal personnel to accomplish pipeline & terminal facility repairs and replacements while minimizing effect on throughput.
- Work well as team with other schedulers to ensure compatible schedules, efficient utilization of facilities, and superior customer service.Ā
Physical demands:
- Ability to take initiative, work independently and handle multiple tasks or activities simultaneously.
- Ability to take direction and supervision and work cooperatively with people
- Ability to hear and orally respond to oral communications
Working conditions:
- Work takes place in an indoor office environment
- Subject to being called on a 24-hour basis and being required to carry a cell phone to answer calls regarding terminals and/or customer issues
- Must be willing and able to travel, as needed.Ā
