About the Role:

The Powersports Title Clerk Admin plays a critical role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of vehicle titles and related documentation within the retail powersports industry. This position is responsible for managing the administrative tasks associated with the transfer, registration, and titling of powersports vehicles, including motorcycles, ATVs, and personal watercraft along with trade ins.The role requires close collaboration with dealerships, state motor vehicle departments, and customers to ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements. By maintaining meticulous records and tracking title statuses, the Title Clerk Admin helps facilitate smooth ownership transfers and supports overall customer satisfaction. Ultimately, this position contributes to the operational efficiency and legal compliance of the powersports retail business by managing all title-related administrative functions with precision and professionalism.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in administrative or clerical roles, preferably within the automotive or powersports industry.
  • Familiarity with vehicle titling and registration processes.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with standard office software such as Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a title clerk or in a similar role within the powersports or automotive retail sector.
  • Knowledge of state-specific motor vehicle department procedures and regulations.
  • Experience using dealership management systems or title processing software.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, review, and submit title and registration documents for powersports vehicles in accordance with state and federal regulations.
  • Coordinate with dealerships, customers, and motor vehicle departments to resolve title discrepancies and ensure timely processing.
  • Maintain accurate records of all title transactions, including tracking title status and updating internal databases.
  • Verify customer information and vehicle details to ensure compliance with legal requirements and company policies.
  • Assist in managing lienholder documentation and ensure proper recording of liens on vehicle titles.
  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding title status and provide updates as needed.

  • Will also assist in the Finance office with processing sales deals
