Project Manager – Processing, Conditioning & Measurement Equipment (PCM)

Job Description

Project Manager (PCM) – Responsible for the successful execution of processing, conditioning & measurement projects (PCM) beginning with the order hand off and engineering process through shop production and commissioning activities. Typical projects will range from pressure vessels, such as separators, to skidded equipment like fuel gas skids to single and multi-run turbine and Coriolis meter skids.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

·       Lead all project execution activities from project hand off to shipment

·       Support and liaison with other company functions including Design, engineering, purchasing, manufacturing and quality.

·       Review technical proposals to identify the customers requirements (technical/products problems, execution issues) and bring effective solutions

·       Lead technical and commercial discussion with the customer as well as 3rd party inspectors to meet all project expectations and ensure a successful project

·       Lead internal and external meetings (kick off, coordination, HAZOP etc.)

·       Manage and schedule deliverables submitted to the customer

·       Follow up on project issues through shipment and commissioning as needed

·       Understand and manage the budgeted engineering hours allocated to the job

·       Support the scheduling and monitor the progress of vendor deliverables

·       Review and submit bills of material for purchasing and fabrication activities.

·       Coordinate material and purchasing activities with procurement to ensure on-time and on budget material costs

·       Review and submit bills of material for purchasing and fabrication activities.

·       Review and approve engineering drawings and submittals to manufacturing

·       Ensure customer and SEC quality requirements are met and participate in final engineering sign off’s prior to unit release.



EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelors of Engineering Degree or equivalent industry experience
  • 6+ years experience with production equipment, pressure vessel fabrication or related industry
  • Experience with industry standard production equipment packages 

REQUIRED SKILLS/TOOLS

  • Knowledge of PCM equipment including separators, fuel gas conditioning skids and measurement skids
  • Knowledge of industry codes & standards including but not limited to below
    • ASME Section VIII Pressure Vessel Design Code
    • B31.3, 31.4 & B31.8 Piping Codes
  • Excellent writing and organizational skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate both verbally and in writing.
  • Able to work under pressure in deadline driven & fast-pace environment
  • Ability to work independently and hold self accountable to meet deadlines
  • Capability to multi-task with good organization skills
  • Problem solving and decision making with minimal supervision
  • Takes ownership of assignments and is focused on tasks given
  • Capable to apply ASME, API, NEC and OSHA terms and guidelines on package applications
  • Ability to read, comprehend and comment to technical specifications
  • Read and modify technical P&ID diagrams
  • The ability to lead and mentor others.
