Radiographic Test Inpector

LOCATION: Houston - Texas - USA

DEPARTMENT: INDUSTRIAL OPERATIONS

Inspector

Performs inspections on pipes identifying and marking defects when found, in a safe and efficient manner according to applicable procedures, complying with defined quality standards.

Main Responsibilities

Ensure product quality complying with defined standards and reporting deviations.
Executes change over and set up of the X-Ray equipment and revealing equipment.
Prepares X-Ray plates according to quality procedures.
Identifies and positions pipes.
Settles X-Ray plates on pipes.
Performs machine operation.
Assists machine lock outs and tag outs and does operative maintenance (revealing fluid, machine adjustments, etc.).
Updates information in the tracking systems and records the obtained results.

Schedule:

This position will be required to work on a rotating shift and to work overtime, holidays, shifts and weekends (if needed).

Preferred skills:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent
Familiar with operating a forklift
Familiar with operating an overhead crane
Familiar with NDT Techniques (Magnetic Particles, Visual Inspection)
Ability to work in a team and maintain a good attitude
Familiar with ERW process and the Tubing Industry
