Job Description:

The Recruitment Specialist, in partnership with the HR team, is responsible for providing the highest level of recruiting services to EDF Trading hiring managers. Successful candidates will manage the full lifecycle of the recruitment process from inception to offer while guiding hiring managers and candidates through the selection process. The Recruitment Specialist will serve as an advocate for the company brand across numerous markets and professional communities. This individual will implement and drive the recruitment strategy focusing on a direct recruitment model, and manage the talent pipeline, including campus recruitment activities. 

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain the recruitment and candidate data in Workday, including applicant tracking, internal and external job board postings
  • Ensure all posted roles have the appropriate approvals and job descriptions are created and in line with job families
  • Effectively utilize direct sourcing as a primary method of recruitment by leveraging resources such as online, networking and cold calling of contacts to help identify and source qualified candidates; manage recruitment agency relationships as necessary
  • Manage the flow of CV’s to hiring managers, including candidate screening and feedback based on knowledge of role and business requirements
  • Qualify applicants through resume review and initial prescreening
  • Manage the scheduling and logistics of all interviews between candidates and interview teams
  • Organize, lead and document post-interview feedback meetings with interview teams and hiring managers
  • Prepare, negotiate and execute offers for qualified candidates, with collaboration from hiring managers and within the compensation policy
  • Liaise with HR Reward team to ensure all roles are benchmarked competitively
  • Manage and maintain strong partnerships with external vendors, including relocation, travel, and background screening providers, to ensure a seamless and efficient candidate experience
  • Manage graduate and intern hiring, including managing job postings, liaising with universities and other direct methods of sourcing, managing flow of CV’s, booking interviews, managing assessment methods, managing offer process
  • Promote utlisation of Global Employee Referral Program
  • Provide training and upskilling to hiring managers and interview teams to ensure a consistent and fair recruitment process
  • Own recruiting data reporting and tracking
  • Embed our employee value proposition across all recruitment activity
  • Lead and manage the intern and graduate programs, including program structure, team events, performance assessments, learning and development opportunities, assignment of mentors/buddies
  • Willingness to take on additional responsibilities within the team such as special projects, business partnering, regional initiatives

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience required
  • Minimum 7 to 10 years in full lifecycle recruiting experience required
  • Prior experience recruiting within the energy industry and/or commodities space required
  • Campus recruiting experience preferred
  • Ability to work across the organization understanding specific team needs
  • Ability to focus in an open office environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong collaborator
  • Proven ability to build trusted relationships with stakeholders at all levels
  • High level of organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Workday preferred
  • Sense of urgency
  • Analytics and methodical approach to problem solving
  • Motivated and results driven
  • Ability to coordinate high volume recruitment
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced environment is essential
