Regional Environmental Manager

HB NEXT is a fast-growing, technology-enabled Compliance as a Service (CaaS) company supporting the construction, industrial, and utility industries. As we expand into new markets, we are seeking an experienced Regional Environmental Director to lead growth, strengthen client relationships, and oversee operational performance across multiple regions.

Market:  Houston, TX

Focus:  SWPPP/NPDES - Erosion Control/Stormwater Monitoring

Position Overview

The Regional Environmental Manager (REM) is a senior leadership role with a strong external focus. Approximately 80% of this role is client- and sales-facing, with the remaining 20% focused on internal leadership and operational oversight. The REM serves as a key representative of HB NEXT, driving client engagement, supporting sales efforts, and ensuring operational excellence across their territory.

Key Responsibilities

• Represent HB NEXT in sales meetings and client meetings, serving as a senior point of contact
• Build, maintain, and expand strong client relationships across multiple regions
• Oversee and support Operations Managers (OMs) and the broader Operations team
• Monitor and manage Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to ensure business objectives are met
• Address and resolve escalated issues involving EPDs or LIAs
• Partner with HR on hiring, performance management, annual reviews, and corrective actions for management staff
• Assist the Finance team with escalated client billing or non-payment issues
• Support strategic growth initiatives within the assigned territory
