Job Title: Risk Management & Operations Liaison

Location: Houston, Texas – Support Center (On-Site)

Reports To: Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Position Type: Full-Time, Professional Office-Based with ~25% Regional Field Support


Position Overview

LINK Staffing is seeking a business-minded, highly organized Risk Management & Operations Liaison to serve as the vital communication hub for our injury response and risk operations. Reporting directly to the COO, this professional role centers on rapid incident triage: taking in injury reports from field staff and seamlessly coordinating care, compliance, and return-to-work efforts across our branch offices, host clients, and the injured candidates.The ideal candidate brings 1+ years of dedicated professional office experience. You must possess the professional communication skills required to manage high-stakes coordination and present data to executive leadership, alongside the confidence and adaptability to conduct site walkthroughs in fast-paced warehouse and industrial environments.


Key Corporate & Analytical Responsibilities (75% of Role)

• Incident Triage & Coordination: Serve as the primary, immediate point of contact when field staff report an injury. Actively manage the communication loop and coordinate critical next steps between the local branch office, the host client facility, and the placed candidate.

• Claims Management & Lifecycle: Coordinate the full claims lifecycle from initial intake through final resolution. Input first reports of injury into the claims management system and participate actively in all workers’ compensation claim reviews.

• Insurance & Compliance Administration: Process certificates of insurance, send annual posting notices, and manage compliance with insurance procedures and risk manuals. Assess, assign, and audit workers’ compensation classification codes.

• Reporting, Analytics & Trend Tracking: Perform monthly trending, analysis, and data collection of workers’ compensation claims. Compile root-cause data and distribute finalized compliance reports directly to executive leadership and stakeholders.

• Professional Stakeholder Liaison: Build and maintain corporate relationships with claims adjusters, insurers, outside legal counsel, and host employer HR departments.

• Program Administrative Support: Act as the administrative lead for the Safety Committee. Help design, update, and digitally distribute safety awareness programs and orientation training tailored to specific client environments.


Field & Warehouse Support Responsibilities (25% of Role)

• On-Site Risk Assessments: Travel a minimum of 25% to client sites and company offices to conduct physical site inspections, identify hazards, and recommend corrective actions.

• Field Incident Support: Investigate accidents and injuries on the floor; prepare formal documentation for hearings, lawsuits, and insurance investigations.

• Field Training Delivery: Deliver on-site training classes, video training programs, and safety awareness sessions directly to field teams.


Required Qualifications & Skills

• Professional Office Experience: 1–2 years of professional experience in an office setting handling risk management, high-volume coordination, corporate safety administration, or claims management.

• Business & Technical Literacy: High proficiency in Microsoft Office (specifically Excel for data trending, Word, and PowerPoint). Experience navigating HRIS or claims management software.

• Analytical Skills: Solid analytical skills with a focus on root-cause analysis, data collection, and financial/loss control tracking.

• Communication & Presence: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the professional presence required to work directly with C-suite executives and external corporate clients.

• Mobility & Travel: Ability to travel 25%+ within Houston and comfortably conduct physical site inspections walking through active logistics, manufacturing, or industrial environments.

Preferred Qualifications.

• Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Business Administration, HR, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field.

• Workers’ Compensation Adjuster’s License, ARM, or equivalent certification.

• OSHA 30-Hour Certification or CSP.

• Spanish language proficiency.
