Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Premises Patrol in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a fast-moving logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor activity, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will support daily operations through strong communication, customer service, and teamwork while bringing a reliable, agile, and innovative approach grounded in integrity and a people-first culture.

Pay Rate: $15.16 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a busy logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, operational disruptions, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through proper channels when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, parking areas, trailer yards, warehouse surroundings, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor the movement of visitors, drivers, and/or vendors entering and leaving the location, helping to support established post orders and reporting unusual activity.
• Document incidents, observations, and/or daily activities in required reports and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
