This position is responsible for performing senior-level accounting and reconciliation activities across revenue, intercompany, lease, and inventory accounting; managing prepaid, loan, and deferred revenue balances; preparing cash forecasts; performing balance sheet reconciliations; and supporting audit requests and ad hoc financial analysis.
Principal Responsibilities
β Record and reconcile prepaid insurance schedules monthly, ensuring accurate amortization and balance sheet reporting.Β
β Manage loan accounting, including reconciling balances, interest entries, and related reporting.Β
β Perform revenue accounting and reconciliation, ensuring revenue is recorded accurately and in compliance with GAAP.Β
β Prepare and reconcile intercompany accounting entries and billings, ensuring balances between entities are accurate and resolved in a timely manner.Β
β Perform GRIR (Goods Receipt/Invoice Receipt) reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies between purchase orders, receipts, and invoices.Β
β Prepare cash forecast reporting to support liquidity planning.Β
β Review and reconcile rent, utilities, and deposit accounts, ensuring accurate recording and timely resolution of variances.Β
β Maintain lease accounting records in compliance with ASC 842, including lease schedules, amortization, and related disclosures.
Β β Perform inventory accounting, including reconciliations and analysis of inventory balances and variances.
Β β Manage deferred revenue accounting for ADK-related transactions, ensuring accurate recognition in accordance with revenue recognition standards.Β
β Prepare and review balance sheet account reconciliations, ensuring all accounts are fully supported and variances are researched and resolved.
Β β Support audit requests, providing documentation and analysis as needed.Β
β Respond to ad hoc requests from management and other departments.Β
β Other duties as assigned.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Β
Reconciliation Accuracy & Timeliness:Β
β Complete all assigned balance sheet reconciliations (including GRIR, intercompany, and prepaid schedules) accurately and by the monthly close deadline.
Revenue & Deferred Revenue Integrity:Β
β Ensure revenue and ADK deferred revenue transactions are recorded in compliance with revenue recognition standards with minimal post-close adjustments.Β
Audit & Business Support Responsiveness:
Β β Provide timely, accurate documentation for audit requests and respond to ad hoc requests within 2 business days.
Experience Required
Β β 5-7 years in Accounting & Finance, preferably with exposure to multi-entity or intercompany accounting
β Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices (US GAAP)Β
β Experience with revenue recognition, deferred revenue, and lease accounting (ASC 842)
Β β Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process
Β β Experience performing account reconciliations, including intercompany and GRIR reconciliations
Β β Proficiency in accounting software/ERP systems and Microsoft ExcelΒ
β Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Β β Strong attention to detail and accuracyΒ
β Excellent written and verbal communication skills
β Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Β β CPA certification is a plus
