Senior Accounts Payable Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accounts Payable Coordinator to join our Houston-based Accounting Team at Mustang Cat, the authorized Caterpillar® dealer for Southeast Texas. If you’re an AP expert with a strong eye for detail and a passion for process accuracy, this opportunity is for you.

What You’ll Do as a Senior Accounts Payable Coordinator:

• Manage all aspects of Mustang Cat’s weekly accounts payable check run
• Ensure timely and accurate payment of vendor invoices
• Review invoices for correct coding and approval routing
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
• Process employee expense reimbursements
• Set up and maintain vendor accounts in the AP system
• Complete W-9 requests and vendor tax documentation
• Assist with account reconciliations and reporting

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 3 years of Accounts Payable experience
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and procedures
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• High proficiency with Excel and related software
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow process

✅ Preferred Skills:

• College coursework in Business or Accounting
• Experience with SAP Concur, AVIDXchange, ApplicationXtender, and Unit4 Financials
