The Senior Facility Manager is responsible for the overall management, maintenance, and optimization of the facility’s infrastructure, utilities, and support services. This role ensures operational continuity, safety compliance, and a clean, efficient working environment across all areas, including production, warehouse, office spaces, and surrounding grounds.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the repair and maintenance of building structures, systems, and fixtures, including all utilities and services
  • Ensure high standards of cleanliness and housekeeping across all facility areas
  • Manage staffing, resources, and daily operations of the Facility Department
  • Ensure availability of spare parts and maintenance consumables (e.g., lighting, cables, tools)
  • Oversee procurement and usage of cleaning and hygiene supplies
  • Plan and schedule preventive maintenance, overhauls, and installation projects
  • Coordinate and supervise third-party contractors to ensure safe and efficient execution of work with minimal disruption to operations
  • Maintain and update all facility layouts, drawings, and technical documentation

Operations & Maintenance

  • Prioritize and coordinate maintenance activities in alignment with production requirements
  • Ensure readiness of maintenance workshops, tools, and equipment
  • Maintain logs of breakdowns, root cause analysis, and corrective actions
  • Prepare and review weekly facility performance and incident reports
  • Ensure calibration of instruments and measuring devices per manufacturer recommendations

Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead, supervise, and evaluate Facility Department staff performance
  • Identify training needs and support continuous employee development
  • Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement

Health, Safety & Compliance (EHS)

  • Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements
  • Enforce safe work practices, including electrical safety, work-at-height protocols, and fire prevention measures
  • Support environmental initiatives in line with ISO 14001 standards
  • Identify and mitigate workplace and fire safety risks in collaboration with safety officers
  • Promote employee engagement in EHS initiatives and continuous improvement actions

Contractor & Vendor Management

  • Manage procurement and performance of third-party service providers
  • Ensure proper supervision during contractor activities to safeguard company assets and ensure safety compliance

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Facility downtime due to breakdowns
  • Timely completion of preventive and corrective maintenance
  • Maintenance budget adherence and cost control
  • Compliance with safety and environmental standards

Additional Responsibilities

  • Execute responsibilities related to energy management procedures
  • Ensure uninterrupted operations through structured planning and scheduling

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, or related field)
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years in a senior or leadership role
