About the role: Directs and manages Help Desk, System/Network Administrators, and Telecommunication Analyst Teams. Achieves IT operational objectives by maintaining current systems and testing/implementing new and improved technologies. Facilitates high-uptime measures and maintains high customer support levels. Meets financial objectives by preparing budgets and scheduling expenditures while analyzing and adjusting to variances. Analyzes the company's needs to determine service requirements; prioritizes system/application modifications, and prepares infrastructure for business changes. Organizes training and educational opportunities.   What you will do: Team and group management. Customer experience and infrastructure reliability management.  Monitors day-to-day operations for Help Desk and IT Infrastructure. Project Management. Budget and financial activities. Training coordination and skills improvement assessments for teams. Documentation and reporting (analysis and generation). Provides technical backup system administration and triage to handle high-priority issues or provide coverage. When & Where: Normal office hours, additional off-hours, or weekend support for IT operations or Project Implementations. Limited travel to other MLA sites to support Project Implementations or Business Meetings and Initiatives. Qualifications What you need to have: Bachelor's Degree 10+ Years of experience Experience managing Infrastructure and Help Desk Teams.  Promotes a cooperative and productive team environment. Hands-on experience with implementing IT hardware. Ability to build relationships internally with Business Groups, IT Teams aMcross MLA locations, and IT Vendors. Project Management.  Process Analysis and Improvement skills. Develop and manage budgets. Negotiation and Conflict Management skills.  Good written and verbal skills.  Ensures staff development and training. Customer Service Focused, both internally and externally.  Customer First positive attitude. What would be nice to have: Experience with VMWare virtualization, Cisco Switching, Palo Alto Firewalls, and Environment monitoring tools. ITIL, PMP, Six Sigma, IT Security, or other Infrastructure Certifications. Manufacturing work environment experience. Experience with resolving IT environment performance and uptime issues.
