What this job involves:
We are seeking an energetic Senior Project Manager to lead project management services for national and global client portfolios while managing a geographically dispersed team of PM professionals. In this role, you'll drive exceptional client service, achieve financial targets, and serve as a trusted advisor to clients in their real estate project delivery. You'll develop and execute project delivery strategies aligned with client business objectives, oversee multiple programs across tenant improvements, security upgrades and facility maintenance, and build key relationships with executives at all organizational levels. What your day-to-day will look like:
Collaborate with stakeholders to align project objectives with client goals and develop pursuit strategies to grow account business
Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resources across multiple construction projects valued between $5-10M, ensuring diligent adherence to JLL and client processes
Manage all aspects of small to mid-size ground-up projects including programming, design, entitlements, bidding, permitting, and construction management
Engage with cross-functional teams using a "one-firm" approach to optimize project outcomes and deliver innovative solutions
Provide on-site supervision and interface with executives, contractors, and vendors to ensure performance criteria and compliance standards are consistently met
Mentor and guide project managers to foster professional growth while attracting, developing, and retaining diverse talent across geographically dispersed teams
Develop and validate budgets for yearly and multi-year capital plans, managing account financials to achieve or exceed corporate targets
Identify business opportunities within the PDS team and implement strategies to enhance service quality and client satisfaction
Foster an inclusive workplace culture supporting diversity and wellbeing while championing collaboration across all team levels
Required qualifications:
10+ years of experience as a real estate project management leader with proven track record in client service delivery
Strong knowledge of architectural drawings, construction methods, and project lifecycle management from concept through completion
Prior experience managing small to mid-size ground-up construction projects including all phases of development
Proficiency managing all aspects of construction projects including budgeting, scheduling, change orders, and variance reporting
Exceptional organizational and analytical skills with ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to interact effectively with executive-level stakeholders
Proficiency with Microsoft Project or other scheduling software for comprehensive project planning and tracking
Experience in supervising, training, and evaluating talent at various levels across distributed teams
Working knowledge of accounting, financial reporting, and capital plan management with focus on stewardship of client investments
Willingness to travel 20% to 40% and work primarily at client offices or project locations
Valid driver license
Preferred qualifications:
Degree in Construction Management, Project Management, Architecture, Engineering or equivalent field
Professional certifications such as CMC, PMP, Six Sigma, or LEED
Experience working in global organizations with multicultural teams and diverse stakeholder groups
