Shipping Clerk / Marking Operator

General Summary:

The Marking position is responsible for setting up and operating marking, engraving, and rolling stamping equipment,

Operator is responsible to mark, stamp or engrave parts according to WFI-Customer Specifications. onto manufactured products.

Essential Job Functions and Duties:

· Set Up Marking - Stamping Equipment.

· Review WFI Job Orders Specification to set up marking manufactured parts.

· Get 1st article inspection done to assure part meet WFI requirement.

· Identify Marking Priorities based upon Sales Order Due Date or Hot Orders.

· Deburr and grind parts to eliminate sharp edges and any potentials scale

· Set up and operate manual mill and lathes to produce tensile and sharpy test pieces

· Maintain his/her area clean and organized

· Maintain Marking Equipment in good conditions

· Follow safety rules and wear PPE accordingly
