The Staff Pad is proud to partner with a leading innovator in property technology, and we are seeking to hire a motivated Solution Design Engineer to join their team in Houston, TX.
This role combines technical expertise, solution design, problem solving and customer engagement.
The Solution Design Engineer will support pre-sales initiatives, develop customized technical solutions, and collaborate across teams to ensure customer requirements are translated into effective, scalable solutions that support successful sales and implementation.

What You’ll Do
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide pre-sales technical support, product demonstrations, and technical presentations
- Assess customer requirements and design tailored technical solutions
- Partner with product development teams to incorporate customer feedback into product improvements
- Prepare technical documentation, proposals, and sales materials
- Serve as a trusted technical advisor throughout the sales cycle
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure solution alignment and effective communication
- Perform other duties and assignments as required
What We Are Looking For
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
- 3+ years of network design experience with Ruckus, Aruba, or Cisco Meraki equipment
- Experience with Ekahau and Lucidchart preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Visio, Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneDrive, and SharePoint
