Job DetailsLevel: ExperiencedJob Location: Houston, TX 77051We are seeking an experienced Senior Progress OpenEdge Developer to support and enhance a customized ERP platform in a fast-paced Agile environment. This role requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate across teams to deliver scalable business solutions. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and maintain Progress OpenEdge applications and integrations. Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Build and support APIs using PASOE and related technologies. Troubleshoot application issues, optimize performance, and support deployments. Participate in Agile development, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives. Create technical documentation and mentor junior team members. QualificationsRequired Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience. 5+ years of Progress OpenEdge / Progress 4GL development experience. Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming, SQL, Linux/Unix, and application integration. Experience with PASOE, WebSpeed, Progress databases, and OpenEdge Studio. Proficiency with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, JSON, AJAX, and API development/testing tools such as Postman. Experience with GitHub, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, SVN, and CI/CD processes. Strong troubleshooting, communication, and multi-project management skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Kendo UI, Java, .NET, and MS SQL Server. Experience working with enterprise ERP systems and third-party integrations.
