About the Job
The Sr. Training Planner provides operational and coordination support to the Learning & Development function and the Americas Operating Centers, ensuring effective execution, communication, and administration of learning initiatives across the organization. This role focuses on enabling upskilling and reskilling programs through strong coordination, vendor management, and program tracking.
This position is structured as a 6 month contract assignment, with the potential for conversion to a full-time role based on performance and business needs.
Key Responsibilities
Learning Operations & Coordination
- Plan, coordinate and schedule training sessions, workshops, and learning activities across multiple business unitsÂ
- Manage logistics for learning programs (virtual and in-person), including scheduling, materials, and vendor coordinationÂ
- Maintain accurate records of learning activities within LMS and internal systemsÂ
- Support deployment of learning initiatives across assigned Operating Center (OC) clustersÂ
Program Support & Administration
- Support execution of learning and development plans aligned with business needsÂ
- Track participation, completion, and effectiveness of training programsÂ
- Prepare reports and provide insights on learning metrics and outcomesÂ
- Ensure learning activities comply with internal policies and regulatory requirementsÂ
Vendor & Stakeholder Management
- Coordinate with external learning providers, consultants, and universitiesÂ
- Monitor vendor performance and service deliveryÂ
- Partner with People & Culture (P&C), managers, and project teams to align learning initiatives with business prioritiesÂ
Learning Communication & Engagement
- Promote learning opportunities across the organization to drive engagementÂ
- Support internal communication campaigns related to learning programsÂ
- Provide guidance to employees and managers on available learning resourcesÂ
Budget & Process Support
- Monitor training budgets and track associated costsÂ
- Support applications for grants, funding, or training incentives where applicableÂ
- Identify opportunities for process improvements within learning operationsÂ
About You
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or professional diploma in Human Resources, Learning & Development, Business Administration, or a related fieldÂ
- 5-10+ years of experience in learning coordination, HR operations, or L&D program supportÂ
- Experience supporting training programs or workforce development initiativesÂ
Skills & Abilities
- Experience of defining and delivering learning plans
- Strong organizational and project coordination skillsÂ
- Ability to manage multiple prioritiesÂ
- Ability to engage and influence stakeholdersÂ
- Strong communication and interpersonal skillsÂ
- High attention to detail and accuracy in data tracking and reportingÂ
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environmentÂ
Preferred
- Experience working in a global or matrix organizationÂ
- Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS)Â
- Exposure to vendor management and learning program coordinationÂ
