Store Manager Trainee

• Staff Management: Oversee daily operations, manage employees, and ensure they meet company standards. This includes hiring, training, and developing staff to enhance their skills and performance.
• Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by interacting with customers, addressing their inquiries, and resolving complaints to ensure a positive shopping experience.
• Sales and Profitability: Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability while managing expenses effectively. Monitor sales performance and adjust strategies as needed.
• Store Operations: Ensure the store is clean, well-stocked, and compliant with safety regulations. This includes managing inventory, merchandising, and maintaining store displays.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable laws, including those related to safety and health regulations.
• Reporting: Prepare and analyze reports on sales, inventory, and employee performance to inform decision-making and improve store operations.

We are required to obtain specialized licenses for those of our stores that sell alcohol and/or tobacco.  As a manager, you may be required by the local jurisdiction where a store is situated to provide certain detailed background information necessary to obtain a license to sell alcoholic beverages / tobacco products.  Failure to comply and/or qualify for such license can lead to demotion or separation of employment.
