ERM is seeking a Technical Partner to help grow our Natural Resources practice, with a focus on supportingĀ power, renewable energy, diversified energy, and technology sector clients across North America.Ā
Location:Ā preferably based inĀ our Atlantic Central Business Unit, but with national reach.
This role will provide technical leadership in biological resources, ecological mitigation, habitat conservation, ecological restoration, and environmental permitting. The successful candidate will serve as a trusted advisor toĀ clientsĀ developing andĀ operatingĀ major infrastructure projects while helping expand ERM's market presence and technical capabilities.Ā
As a Partner, you will combine technicalĀ expertise, client relationship management, and business leadership to build long-term client partnerships, develop new business opportunities, and mentor multidisciplinary teams. What You'll DoĀ
In this role, you will:Ā
Lead business development and client engagement activities within the Power, Diversified Energy, and Technology sectors.Ā
Provide senior technical oversight for biological resources, ecological restoration, habitat conservation, and environmental permitting programs.Ā
Support clients through project planning, permitting, construction, and operations phases.Ā
Develop and grow key client relationships whileĀ identifyingĀ opportunities forĀ additionalĀ services.Ā
Mentor and develop technical staff and project managers.Ā
Collaborate with ERM partners and service line leaders to support regional and national growth initiatives.Ā
Drive project delivery excellence while meeting financial, safety, and qualityĀ objectives.Ā

What You'll BringĀ
Required:Ā
BS/MS in environmental science, engineering, or related field.Ā
15+ years of progressive experience in environmental consulting.Ā
Proven leadership in mitigation andĀ ecorestoration, including endangered species and habitat conservation.Ā
Deep understanding of conventional and renewable energy markets in North America.Ā
Strong business developmentĀ track record, generatingĀ and deliveringĀ multi-million-dollar programs.Ā
ExpertiseĀ inĀ HCPs, and regional permitting.Ā
Preferred:Ā
ExperienceĀ establishingĀ mitigation banks and writing vegetation management plans.Ā
Existing client relationships in theĀ Power, DiversifiedĀ energyĀ and/orĀ TechnologyĀ sector that can beĀ leveragedĀ for growth.Ā
Familiarity with utility commissions, regulatory agencies, and emerging sustainability trends.Ā

For the Technical Partner, Natural Resources position, the anticipated annual base pay is $175,000ā$202,300 (USD). Actual pay will depend on factors such as education, experience, skills, location, performance, and business needs. In some cases, pay may fall outside this range. This role may be eligible for bonus pay (casual and fixed term/flex force employees are not bonus eligible).
