Technical Recruiter - Houston, TX - Hybrid

Talent Delivery at NV5 provides industry best practice solutions to our internal (Hiring Managers, Stakeholders etc.) & external (Candidates) clients.As our Technical Recruiter, you will be responsible for the day-to-day full-cycle talent acquisition process supporting NV5’s business groups. Working alongside your hiring managers and internal stakeholders, you will provide solutions and strategies to help us continue to attract and grow with the industry’s top engineering talent.

 

This is a full time hybrid position based in Houston.

Responsibilities

As our Technical Recruiter, you will:

 

  • Lead the day-to-day full life cycle recruiting for NV5’s various business group which includes Power & Utilities, Building Design and more.
  • Develop unique and creative sourcing strategies and techniques for all assigned roles, specifically for hard-to-fill, pivotal positions.
  • Build and establish a strategic partnership and alignment with the respective group leaders.
  • Maintain recruitment applicant tracking system (ATS), ensuring information is accurate and up to date.
  • Coordinate on-site and phone interviews for candidates with extreme efficiency.
  • Drive a best-in-class candidate experience that cultivates long term relationships and build sustainable candidate pipelines.
  • Actively use both internal and external recruiting tools to develop & execute sourcing strategies, build diverse talent pools, and develop relevant relationships.
  • Manage 3rd party agency relationships when appropriate.
  • Conduct weekly, bi-weekly, and/or monthly cadence calls with hiring teams and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

We are seeking the following experience:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited University or College.
  • 2-5 years of full-cycle corporate or agency recruiting experience. Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (A/E/C) recruiting experience is strongly preferred.
  • Experience recruiting Power & Utilities skill sets is a plus.
  • Experience working with iCIMS or other corporate level ATS.
  • Proven ability to take initiative and build strong relationships with candidates. As well as, with a wide variety of internal stakeholders.
  • Proven experience successfully utilizing Boolean searches to build talent pipeline talent across multiple geographies.
  • LInkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, and/or other relative pipeline building experience.
  • Must have a passion for candidate experience.

The pay range for this position is $65,000.00- $75,000.00 per year; however, base pay offered may be higher or lower depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience of the candidate. Restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
