Job Summary and Responsibilities

As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will be a pivotal healthcare professional, delivering compassionate, high-quality care that truly impacts our patients' well-being and recovery.Every day, you will leverage your expertise to provide individualized, comprehensive care, making critical assessments, performing skilled procedures, and meticulously implementing patient care plans.   • Patient Assessment & Care: Conducts comprehensive assessments, provides holistic nursing care, and notifies physicians of significant changes.
  • Care Planning & Coordination: Develops, directs, and evaluates individualized care plans, including patient/family education and discharge planning, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.
  • Treatment Implementation: Prepares patients for procedures, implements physician orders, and ensures patient safety protocols, including medication administration.
  • Ongoing Evaluation & Adjustment: Regularly reassesses patient responses to interventions, adapts care to changing needs, and communicates with physicians for modifications.
  • Effective Communication & Handoffs: Utilizes Bedside Shift Report, provides thorough patient updates, and delegates tasks for seamless care transitions.
  • Safety & Quality Assurance: Maintains a safe patient and work environment, promptly addresses hazards, and actively contributes to quality and patient satisfaction initiatives.

Job Requirements

Required

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing
  • At least one (1) year of RN experience, upon hire
  • Registered Nurse: TX, upon hire 
  • Basic Life Support - CPR, within 14 - day
  • Demonstrated competence in Registered Nurse I performance expectations or meets experience requirements upon hire
