Responsibilities

As a Multifamily Operations Specialist with Hines, you will oversee the marketing, advertising, sales activities, and leasing team members for properties as needed. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

 

  • Coach, mentor, and participate in the leasing process at Hines communities
  • Assists in the due diligence and take-over process by completing file audits and unit inspections as well as conducting interviews and on-boarding processes
  • Works with on-site team to provide vendor and marketing outreach to generate Community awareness and qualified traffic
  • Establish and implement social media accounts, email templates, craigslist/free online advertising templates, websites and search optimization, and other on-line tools
  • Develop and deploy processes for building relationships with preferred employers and local retailers/restaurants within the market
  • Oversees resident function efforts and other programs to achieve resident satisfaction goals
  • Monitors online rating and reputation management sites and assists on-site teams with response recommendations
  • Acts as a performance improvement resource to onsite teams by following up to provide individual coaching and one-on-one training, conducting remedial and refresher training, and suggesting education and training alternatives and options based on specific situations.
  • Ensure the achievement of the property’s revenue and occupancy goals by directing the marketing, advertising and sales actives as well as ensure the apartments are available for occupancy
  • Use and create promotional items and technology to communicate with potential prospects for the purpose of generating revenue
  • Review and analyze marketing, financial or other reports pertaining to issues impacting leasing performance

 

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements include: 

 

  • High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Five or more years of multifamily property management experience
  • Experience leading lease-ups, acquisitions, turnarounds, or operational transitions
  • Experience managing onsite teams and influencing stakeholders without direct authority
  • Strong financial acumen and understanding of multifamily operating metrics
  • Domestic travel required up to 75% including some weekends
  • Demonstrated management and supervisory skills preferred
  • Driver’s license to operate machinery in property
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office; Entrata experience preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
